Connect Instagram Business to Polar to track your followers, reach and content performance next to your other channels.
Before you start
You need the Admin role in Polar to add connectors.
Your Instagram account needs to be a professional account (Business or Creator) linked to a Facebook Page.
You need access to that Facebook Page in Meta. Polar finds your Instagram accounts through the Pages you manage.
Connect Instagram Business
Go to the Connectors page and search for Instagram Business.
Click Connect.
Log in to Facebook and allow Polar to access your Pages and Instagram accounts.
Select one or more Instagram accounts to connect.
Your data can take up to 24 hours to appear. See Data Syncs.
How Polar reports Instagram data
Instagram metrics use UTC time.
Content metrics are dated by when the content was posted, not when the likes, comments or views happened.
Meta can take up to 24 hours to make new data available.

FAQs
Why is my reach in Polar higher than in Instagram?
Instagram counts each person once over the period you choose. Polar doesn't receive individual user IDs, so it adds up each day's reach. Someone who sees your content on several days is counted on each day. To compare with Instagram's own number for a period, export it from Meta Business Suite > Insights > Results.
Why doesn't my follower count change when I change the date range?
Followers (Lifetime) is a snapshot of your current total. To see growth over time, use Follows, which counts new followers per day.
Why can't I break down Reach by post?
Reach, Follows and Total Impressions are reported for the whole account. Use the Content metrics, such as Content Reach, to compare posts, reels and stories.
Why isn't my Instagram account in the list?
Polar lists the Instagram accounts linked to the Facebook Pages you manage. Check that your Instagram account is a professional account, that it's linked to a Facebook Page, and that you have access to that Page in Meta. Then reconnect.
