Custom Connectors

Last updated: October 8, 2026

In addition to our standard self-serve integrations, Polar offers custom connectors for a number of additional platforms. They're listed on the Connectors page in Polar, but because they aren't fully self-serve, our team sets them up for you.

  • Availability: custom connectors are available on paid Polar plans. They aren't available during the free trial.

  • How to request one: reach out through the in-app chat and ask to speak to an agent, or email support@polaranalytics.co. Tell us which connector you'd like, and include the details listed below for that platform so we can set it up faster.

What we need for each connector

Connector

What to send us

AppLovin

Report Key (API Key)

Awin

API token and account region

Impact

Account SID and Auth Token

Mailchimp

No credentials. Add us as a user.

ShipStation

API Key and API Secret

ShopMy

Developer Key and your registered brand domain

Taboola

Client ID and Client Secret, from your Taboola Account Manager

Twitter/X Ads

No credentials. Add us as a user.

Walmart Marketplace

Client ID, Client Secret, and Service name

Security tip: treat API keys and tokens like passwords. Many are only shown once, so copy them straight away and store them in a password manager. If a key is ever exposed, regenerate it before sending us the new one.

AppLovin

  1. Log in to your AppLovin dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Account › General, then open the Keys tab.

  3. Copy the Report Key (API Key) and send it to us.

If you can't find it, ask your AppLovin account contact for your API key.

Awin

  1. Log in to your Awin account.

  2. Click your profile name in the top-right corner and select API Credentials.

  3. Enter your login password to verify your identity.

  4. Click Show my API token and copy it.

  5. Go to Account › Regions and note your account's region.

Send us both the API token and the region.

Impact

  1. Log in to your Impact dashboard.

  2. Click the Settings icon (or your profile icon) in the bottom-left corner.

  3. Go to Technical › API.

  4. On the API Management page, copy your Account SID (it usually starts with IR) and your Auth Token. Click Show or the eye icon if the token is hidden.

If your Auth Token has ever been exposed, use Reset/Regenerate on the same page before sending it to us.

Mailchimp

No API key is needed. Instead, add us as a user:

  1. In Mailchimp, invite hey@polaranalytics.co to your account.

  2. Grant Manager or Admin permissions.

ShipStation

  1. Log in to your ShipStation account and click the Settings icon (top right).

  2. Go to Account › API Settings and choose your API version.

  3. Click Generate API Key. ShipStation will email you a verification link. Click it, then return and generate the key again.

  4. Set an expiration (3, 6 or 12 months) and click Generate.

  5. Copy the API Key and API Secret and send both to us. They're only shown once.

ShopMy

  1. Log in to your ShopMy brand dashboard.

  2. Go to Account Settings › Tokens › Developer Key and copy the key.

  3. In Account Settings, confirm the brand domain ShopMy has registered for your account (for example, yourbrand.com).

Send us both the Developer Key and the domain. No other login details are needed. The domain isn't a secret, so you can just type it in the chat.

If there's no Developer Key on your account, ShopMy support (brandsupport@shopmy.us) or your Brand Success Manager can issue one. Your Brand Success Manager can also confirm your registered domain if you're not sure.

Avoiding connection errors: ShopMy rejects the connection if either value doesn't match exactly. Check that the key has no extra spaces or line breaks after copying, and that it hasn't been regenerated since you saved it. Send the domain exactly as ShopMy has it on file, since yourbrand.com and www.yourbrand.com count as different domains.

Note: this connector brings in your ShopMy order and commission data. ShopMy Spotlights spend isn't available through ShopMy's API, so to see it in Polar, add it using the Google Sheets spend template.

Taboola

Taboola doesn't show API credentials in its account settings. Ask your Taboola Account Manager to issue you a client_id and client_secret, then send them to us.

Twitter/X Ads

No API key is needed. Instead, add us as a user on your ad account:

  1. Add @polar_analytics or hey@polaranalytics.co to your Twitter/X Ads account.

  2. Grant Account Admin, Ad Manager, or Campaign Analyst permissions.

Walmart Marketplace

From your Walmart Seller/Marketplace account, send us your Client ID, Client Secret, and Service name (usually your brand name).

Other integrations that need API credentials

These integrations also ask for API credentials during setup.

Attentive

Attentive API keys are generated through a custom app.

  1. In your Attentive dashboard, go to the App Marketplace and click + Create App.

  2. Enter an app name (for example, "Polar Analytics"), a contact email, and the permissions you need.

  3. Click Create and copy the API key from the pop-up. It's only shown once.

If you've already created the app, go to App Marketplace › Built by you, select it, and click Regenerate API Key. The old key will stop working, so update it anywhere else it's used.
