Understanding Creative Studio
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Creative Studio shows how each of your ad creatives performs, so you can see which images and videos drive results and which ones to pause. Open it from Ready-made Dashboards → Acquisition → Creative Studio.
Supported ad platforms
Platform | Notes |
|---|---|
Meta | Videos show a high-quality frame as the preview |
TikTok | Videos show the cover image as the preview |
Google Ads | Shows conversions and conversion value across all your conversion goals |
Snapchat | Shows swipe-up rate instead of click-through rate |
If two or more platforms have ad spend in the selected period, choose a platform at the top of the page. Creative Studio opens on the platform with the most spend.
If you haven't connected an ad platform yet, Creative Studio asks you to connect one. See Managing Connectors.
What you'll see
Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
Summary | A one-line takeaway about your top creative, the date range, and how many creatives and ads had spend |
Headline metrics | Spend, purchase value, ROAS, CPA, CTR and CPM for the platform |
Creative grid | A card for each creative, ranked, with the metrics you choose |
Trend chart and table | How performance changes over time, and a sortable table of every creative |
The metrics come from the ad platform itself, for example Meta-reported purchase value. They can differ from Polar Pixel numbers. See Understanding Polar Pixel & Attribution.
Explore your creatives
Choose the date range at the top right.
If you have more than one ad platform, choose the platform.
Choose Per creative to group ads that use the same creative, or Per ad to see each ad separately. A card that says "Runs as 2 ads" combines two ads that use the same creative.
Filter by format: All, Video, Image or Catalog.
Under Card metrics, click the metrics you want each card to show, such as spend, ROAS, CPA, purchases, purchase value, CTR or CPM.
To find a specific ad, use Search ads.
You can also filter the page with a View. See Understanding Views.
FAQs
Why don't Creative Studio numbers match my Polar Pixel numbers?
Creative Studio uses the conversions each ad platform reports, not Polar Pixel attribution. Ad platforms count conversions with their own attribution windows, so their numbers usually differ from the Pixel's.
What's the difference between Per creative and Per ad?
Per creative combines every ad that uses the same image or video, so you see the creative's total performance. Per ad shows each ad on its own.
Why don't I see a platform selector?
The selector only appears when two or more ad platforms have spend in the selected period.
Why can't I open Creative Studio?
Your role doesn't include access to this page. Ask an admin in your workspace to change your role. See User Roles & Permissions.
