Interactive HTML Dashboards
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Ask Polar can build custom dashboards with interactive HTML blocks on your live data. Describe the dashboard you want, and Ask Polar builds it in Polar.
What you can build
Interactive dashboards: dials, sliders, filters and switches re-query your live data, so you can build what-if plans, forecasts and custom cohort views that a standard Polar report can't do.
Any style: ask for a specific look, for example to match a report you used in another tool.
A layout from a screenshot: attach a screenshot, slide or mockup and ask Ask Polar to copy it. It builds an HTML block that shows live numbers in that layout. Each cell can show a value, its year-over-year change and a sub-stat such as CTR, AOV or CVR.
For everything else, Ask Polar builds standard report blocks by default.
Build a dashboard
Open Ask Polar and describe the dashboard you want.
Ask Polar creates it as a private draft in your Drafts and opens it in a panel beside the chat, labelled Private draft.
Keep chatting to change it until it does exactly what you want. If the dashboard is a single HTML block, you can ask Ask Polar to make it full screen.
When it's ready, share it from the Share menu. The label changes to Team draft or Shared dashboard.
You can also ask Ask Polar to change any existing dashboard you can edit, for example "add net sales by week to my Weekly KPIs dashboard". The dashboard opens beside the chat so you can see the changes as you work.
Use it from other AI tools
Interactive dashboards also work through the Polar MCP, so Claude and other AI assistants connected to Polar can build the same dashboards.
Things to know
In emails, wide HTML blocks shrink to fit.
New dashboards start as private drafts, so other people in your workspace can't see them until you share them.
