Polar Analytics now supports both Google Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) as connectors. If you'd like to migrate to Google Analytics 4, use the following steps below to ensure you're set up prior to adding it as a connector in Polar.

How to migrate to GA4:

Step 1: Consider account structure

Step 2: Create a Google Analytics 4 property

To launch the new property, you’ll need to:

• Create the new GA4 property.

• Add the new GA4 tracking tag to your site.

This is most easily accomplished if you use Google Tag Manager. After deployment, check the new property over the next few days to ensure you’re seeing traffic data populating in the property.

Step 3: Create data stream(s)

Step 4: Enable data collection

Step 5: Activate Google Signals
